ROOF REPLACEMENT

A replacement is the right call when the field of the roof has failed — not when one slope has a problem a repair would solve.

We replace residential and commercial roofs across North Texas, and because we also restore interiors, we plan the tear-off around what is happening inside the building.

HOW WE DECIDE REPLACE VERSUS REPAIR

Age and system type set the baseline. Beyond that we look at mat condition and granule loss across all slopes, the number and pattern of hail bruises per test square, decking condition from the attic side, flashing and penetration integrity, and whether prior repairs are holding.

If two of those are marginal and the roof is past two-thirds of its service life, replacement is usually cheaper over five years than the repair sequence that follows.

WHAT A REPLACEMENT INCLUDES

SCOPE

  • Full tear-off and decking inspection
  • Replacement of damaged or delaminated decking
  • Underlayment, ice-and-water at valleys and penetrations
  • New flashing, boots, and drip edge — not reused
  • Ridge and intake ventilation brought to spec
  • Magnetic sweep and full site cleanup
  • Manufacturer warranty registration and photo record

MATERIALS FOR THIS CLIMATE

In hail country, impact-rated Class 4 shingles often pay for themselves through carrier premium credits, and many North Texas policies offer them. Standing seam metal performs extremely well against wind and has a service life measured in decades, at a higher upfront cost. On low-slope commercial, TPO dominates for reflectivity and cost, PVC handles chemical exposure such as restaurant exhaust, and EPDM remains the durable answer on ballasted and mechanically attached systems.

IF THE ROOF FAILED DURING A STORM

Then you likely have an interior claim as well, and it should be one file rather than two. Our storm damage crews and our roofing crews are the same company, scheduled together, so the ceiling repair does not happen before the roof does.

HOW WE DOCUMENT IT FOR YOUR CARRIER

We are contractors, not public adjusters. Texas law is clear that a contractor working on your property cannot adjust your claim, and we don't pretend otherwise. What we do is build the record your carrier needs: dated photographs of every affected area, written scope of work, moisture readings logged over time, and a room-by-room inventory when contents are involved.

We meet your adjuster on site so the scope conversation happens with everyone looking at the same roof and the same readings. Where your policy allows, we bill your carrier directly so you are not floating the job on a credit card.

ONE CALL HANDLES THE WHOLE LOSS

A loss rarely stays in one category. These are the pieces most often attached to this one — same company, same file, same schedule.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Will my insurance pay for a roof replacement?
If the failure is sudden storm damage, generally yes, subject to your policy, deductible, and whether the roof is on a replacement-cost or actual-cash-value basis. Wear-out from age is not a covered loss. We document what we find; your carrier decides coverage.
Do you handle the permit?
Yes. We pull permits and handle city registration requirements in the jurisdictions we work in, including Sherman, Denison, McKinney, Frisco, Plano, and Denton.
What warranty comes with the roof?
Manufacturer material warranties vary by system, plus our own workmanship warranty. Both are written, and we register the manufacturer coverage for you rather than leaving it in your paperwork pile.

FREE INSPECTION. WRITTEN REPORT EITHER WAY.

We walk the property, photograph what we find, and hand you a written report whether you hire us or not.

One property per customer, minor repairs only, materials on hand, at inspector's discretion, subject to safe roof access. Offer terms subject to confirmation.
