ROOFING

GUTTERS & DRAINAGE

Gutters are the least glamorous part of a roof and the reason for a surprising share of the water damage we get called to.

Undersized, unpitched, or disconnected gutters put roof water against fascia, siding, and foundation instead of away from them.

WHAT WE INSTALL

SYSTEMS

  • Seamless 5" and 6" aluminum, formed on site
  • Commercial-gauge and box gutter systems
  • Downspout sizing, routing, and underground tie-ins
  • Gutter guards where tree load justifies them
  • Fascia and drip-edge repair uncovered during install

SIZE AND PITCH ARE NOT OPTIONAL

A large steep roof section dumping into a 5" gutter overshoots in any real North Texas downpour, no matter how clean it is. We size the gutter and downspout count to the contributing roof area, set the pitch so it drains rather than ponds, and place downspouts where the water can actually go somewhere.

REPLACE THEM WITH THE ROOF

Gutters come off during a tear-off anyway, and hail that damaged the roof usually dented the gutters and downspouts in the same event. Doing both at once is one mobilization, one claim line, and one crew responsible for the drip edge detail where the two systems meet.

ONE CALL HANDLES THE WHOLE LOSS

A loss rarely stays in one category. These are the pieces most often attached to this one — same company, same file, same schedule.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Are damaged gutters part of a hail claim?
Frequently yes — gutters and other soft metals are where adjusters look for impact evidence in the first place. We photograph them as part of the inspection.
Do gutter guards work?
Good ones reduce cleaning frequency under heavy tree cover. None eliminate maintenance, and cheap screen inserts often make overflow worse.
