EMERGENCY

24/7 EMERGENCY RESPONSE ACROSS NORTH TEXAS

If water is coming in right now, stop reading and call. A person answers, day or night, and a crew is dispatched from Plano or Sherman depending on where you are.

Emergency work has one purpose: stop the loss from getting bigger. Every hour a roof stays open, water travels farther down the building and more of your property crosses from restorable to replaceable.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST HOUR

We ask three things on the phone: the address, what happened, and whether anyone is in danger. If the building is not safe to occupy, we say so before we say anything else. Then we route the closest crew and tell you what to do until they arrive — where the water shutoff usually is, which breakers to leave alone, and what not to touch in a fire.

On arrival the crew stabilizes the property in a fixed order. Life safety, then the source of the damage, then the spread. Tarps and board-up go on before anyone starts talking about rebuild scope.

WHY THE MITIGATION CALL AND THE ROOF CALL SHOULD BE THE SAME CALL

Most property owners call a water crew and a roofer separately, and the two never speak. The dryers run while the roof is still open. The roof gets replaced after the drywall goes back up. Somebody has to pay for the second demolition.

Ascent runs the emergency response, the drying, the contents, and the roof under one project. From the roof down, one company, one schedule, one file.

HOW WE DOCUMENT IT FOR YOUR CARRIER

We are contractors, not public adjusters. Texas law is clear that a contractor working on your property cannot adjust your claim, and we don't pretend otherwise. What we do is build the record your carrier needs: dated photographs of every affected area, written scope of work, moisture readings logged over time, and a room-by-room inventory when contents are involved.

We meet your adjuster on site so the scope conversation happens with everyone looking at the same roof and the same readings. Where your policy allows, we bill your carrier directly so you are not floating the job on a credit card.

ONE CALL HANDLES THE WHOLE LOSS

A loss rarely stays in one category. These are the pieces most often attached to this one — same company, same file, same schedule.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How fast can you get to my property?
We dispatch 24 hours a day from Plano and Sherman. Response across Grayson, Collin, and Denton counties is typically within a few hours, and faster when a crew is already in your area. Widespread hail events queue by severity, and active water intrusion goes first.
Do I need to call my insurance company before I call you?
No. Stopping the damage comes first, and most policies require you to take reasonable steps to prevent further loss. Call us, then call your carrier. We document the emergency work so it can be presented as part of the claim.
What does emergency tarping cost?
It depends on roof size, pitch, and access. We give you a number before we start, and emergency mitigation is generally a covered line item under a storm claim. We bill your carrier directly where your policy allows.

We walk the property, photograph what we find, and hand you a written report whether you hire us or not.
