HOW WE TARP
Crews carry reinforced poly in multiple sizes, batten strips, and fasteners rated for the wind that follows a hail line. Seams are lapped downslope, edges are battened rather than weighted, and penetrations are kept out of sound decking wherever the geometry allows.
On large commercial low-slope roofs we shrink-wrap or use ballasted seam systems instead, because a battened tarp on a membrane roof creates the next leak.
