RESTORATION

FIRE & SMOKE DAMAGE RESTORATION

The fire is usually the smaller part of the loss. Smoke travels the whole building, soot is corrosive, and the water used to put the fire out leaves a saturated structure behind it.

We secure the building, remove soot and odor, clean and store contents, and rebuild.

WHAT A FIRE LOSS ACTUALLY INVOLVES

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Emergency board-up and site securing
  • Water extraction and drying from suppression
  • Soot and residue removal from structure and systems
  • Odor treatment — not masking
  • Contents inventory, pack-out, and specialty cleaning
  • Documented total-loss items for your claim
  • Full rebuild of affected areas

SOOT IS ON A CLOCK

Smoke residue is acidic. Left alone it etches glass, pits chrome and appliance finishes, and permanently stains porous surfaces within days. Different fuels leave different residues — a kitchen grease fire, a plastics fire, and a wood structure fire each need a different cleaning chemistry, and using the wrong one drives the residue in.

That is why the first crew on site matters more here than almost anywhere else.

ODOR, AND WHY MASKING FAILS

Odor lives in porous materials and in the HVAC system. We clean or remove the source, treat surfaces, address ductwork, and use hydroxyl or ozone treatment where appropriate. If the smell comes back in July, the source was never removed.

CONTENTS AFTER A FIRE

Contents are where fire losses are won or lost emotionally. Items are inventoried and photographed room by room, cleanable items go through specialty processes at our facility, and unsalvageable items are documented individually so your claim reflects what you actually lost.

HOW WE DOCUMENT IT FOR YOUR CARRIER

We are contractors, not public adjusters. Texas law is clear that a contractor working on your property cannot adjust your claim, and we don't pretend otherwise. What we do is build the record your carrier needs: dated photographs of every affected area, written scope of work, moisture readings logged over time, and a room-by-room inventory when contents are involved.

We meet your adjuster on site so the scope conversation happens with everyone looking at the same roof and the same readings. Where your policy allows, we bill your carrier directly so you are not floating the job on a credit card.

ONE CALL HANDLES THE WHOLE LOSS

A loss rarely stays in one category. These are the pieces most often attached to this one — same company, same file, same schedule.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Can I go back in to get my belongings?
Only once the structure is cleared as safe. Fire scenes have structural, electrical, and air-quality hazards that are not obvious. We can retrieve specific critical items — documents, medication, hard drives — as part of the initial entry.
How long does fire restoration take?
Mitigation and contents pack-out generally run one to two weeks. Rebuild depends on scope and permitting; a contained kitchen fire is weeks, a substantial structure fire is months. You get a written schedule, not a shrug.

FREE INSPECTION. WRITTEN REPORT EITHER WAY.

We walk the property, photograph what we find, and hand you a written report whether you hire us or not.

One property per customer, minor repairs only, materials on hand, at inspector's discretion, subject to safe roof access. Offer terms subject to confirmation.
