EMERGENCY BOARD-UP

An open building is a liability. Weather keeps coming in, animals get in, and in most policies an unsecured property becomes an argument you do not want to have with your carrier.

We secure residential and commercial buildings 24/7 after storm, fire, vehicle impact, and vandalism.

WHAT GETS SECURED

Where a building must stay usable, we build secure temporary closures rather than blanket plywood — a boarded storefront that still opens for business beats a closed one.

TYPICAL BOARD-UP SCOPE

  • Broken windows and glass storefronts
  • Doors and door frames that no longer latch
  • Wall and roof openings after impact or fire
  • Collapsed sections fenced and signed
  • Temporary locking access for owners and adjusters

AFTER A FIRE, ORDER MATTERS

Fire scenes need to be secured before soot and odor work starts, and contents have to be inventoried before anything moves. Because we run board-up, contents, and rebuild in-house, the sequence is one plan instead of three companies discovering each other on site.

HOW WE DOCUMENT IT FOR YOUR CARRIER

We are contractors, not public adjusters. Texas law is clear that a contractor working on your property cannot adjust your claim, and we don't pretend otherwise. What we do is build the record your carrier needs: dated photographs of every affected area, written scope of work, moisture readings logged over time, and a room-by-room inventory when contents are involved.

We meet your adjuster on site so the scope conversation happens with everyone looking at the same roof and the same readings. Where your policy allows, we bill your carrier directly so you are not floating the job on a credit card.

ONE CALL HANDLES THE WHOLE LOSS

A loss rarely stays in one category. These are the pieces most often attached to this one — same company, same file, same schedule.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Will board-up damage my building?
Fasteners land in trim and frames rather than finished surfaces wherever possible, and every attachment point is photographed so restoration of those areas is part of the documented scope.
Do you handle commercial properties overnight?
Yes. Retail, office, multi-family, and industrial buildings are a large share of our emergency work, and we coordinate with property managers and on-site security through the night.

FREE INSPECTION. WRITTEN REPORT EITHER WAY.

We walk the property, photograph what we find, and hand you a written report whether you hire us or not.

One property per customer, minor repairs only, materials on hand, at inspector's discretion, subject to safe roof access. Offer terms subject to confirmation.
